Plan Your Visit
We know that visiting a new church for the first time can bring a lot of questions. Whether you are a full-time resident, a seasonal visitor, or just passing through The Villages, we want your first experience to be warm, peaceful, and inspiring.
1. When are your worship services?
We have two Sunday morning worship schedules. In the winter schedule (November - April) we meet each Sunday at 8:30am and 10:30am. For the summer schedule (May - October) we meet each Sunday at 10:30am. Our 10:30am worship services are live streamed via Facebook, our website, or Youtube. Announcements begin at 15 minutes before worship begins, so get here in time to hear about all the events happening at our church! See our full schedule of events on our Calendar page. A greeter and an usher will help you find your way when you arrive or answer any questions you may have.
2. What is the Worship Service like?
Our services last about an hour. They include thought-provoking, relevant messages from our Pastor and beautiful music led by our congregational band and seasonal choir. We practice an open-minded, inclusive faith.
3. Do you offer refreshments on Sunday?
We have a fellowship refreshment hour immediately after our worship service. There is also a coffee bar in the Narthex available before service.
4. When do you offer Communion?
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Currently, communion is offered two ways. For those who are uncomfortable coming forward to share communion, individual communion packets may be obtained from the ushers on the day of communion and may be taken at your seat during the communion celebration. For those wishing to participate in a more traditional communion, the Pastor will offer bread and juice to those who come forward during the service.
5. Do you have ample parking?
Yes! We have plenty of room in the parking lot that sits in front of our church building. Handicapped parking is offered on the side of the church building at the left and there is a side door for easy access to the church.
6. What do I wear?
Come as you are! You will see everything from casual Florida resort wear (shorts and polo shirts) to traditional Sunday attire. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
7. Is everyone truly welcome?
Absolutely. When we say "everyone is welcome" we mean it. No matter your background, race, economic status, gender identity, or where you are on your spiritual journey, there is a place for you here.
8. Do you welcome children to UCC at The Villages?
Children are always welcome at UCC! We have coloring books and crayons for the younger attendees. Families with infants can enjoy a nursery with window looking out on the worship service should they need the use of those facilities. Currently, there are no formal educational programs for children.
