"Called to Care" is a ministry of spiritual healing through service, compassion, prayer, education, health promotion and advocacy.
VISITATIONOur Pastor and/or member ministers visits the home bound and those in the hospital to provide spiritual support and encouragement. He or one of our member ministers provides communion to those unable to attend church services.
BEREAVEMENTThe mission of the Bereavement Team is to provide support when a church member or family member has passed. The team works in conjunction with the pastor and the shepherd ministry to provide assistance to a family after a loss. Since the formation of the committee its primary role has evolved into providing help for a memorial service and for supporting a memorial reception if desired by the family. All members of the UCC community could find assisting with this team beneficial.

SHEPHERDSShepherds are members of the church who volunteer to be a contact or mentor for another church member, or several church members. Every church member has a shepherd who is available to guide the new member and assist in their feeling connected to the church. The Shepherds are friends, caring for friends within the church family. The most important tools of the shepherd is the listening ear and a caring heart.
