SPECIAL EVENTS
Women's Spirituality Group
The group's next meeting is November 6, 2:30pm. They will do a spiritual exercise. As it was so well received last year, Rev. Beam is planning on another altar building experience. Please meditate in the coming weeks on the question, "How do I find peace and comfort during difficult times?" As you meditate, allow an object to rise within you and please bring that object with you to share with the group at our meeting. Don't think up an object and create a story around it; rather, allow your story to come to you, and you will find that the object will come to you as well. As we found last year, this is a very meaningful and rich exercise for our group. All women are invited to attend! Questions? Contact Rev. Rachel Beam, [email protected]

As a congregation, UCC at The Villages continues to be among the top contributing groups to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund. Because of our generous donation, we were able to play a part in helping thirteen local students move closer to realizing their educational dream. Each student received a $4,000 scholarship.
If you cannot attend the breakfast but are moved to help our committee to fund these scholarships, please write your donation check to UCC at The Villages with “MLK Scholarship” in the memo line, and mail to UCC at The Villages P.O. Box 194, Oxford, Fl. 34484. You can also drop your donation in our weekly plate offering.
